How to make your own Play Dough
You will need:
Wooden spoon
2 cups of plain flour
2 cups of water
1 cup of salt
2 tablespoons of oil
2 teaspoons of cream of tartar
A splash of food colouring (the more you put in, the stronger the colour)
What to do
1. Place all the ingredients into the large saucepan.
2. Over a low heat stir continually for about 3 or 4 minutes until it thickens into a ball.
3. Tip out onto a plate/board and knead for a minute to ensure it is well mixed and smooth.
4. The play dough is now ready for playing with and will keep well in an airtight container for several days.
